Ecologically Responsible
For us, being ecologically responsible means taking action to limit our ecological footprint and impact on the environment. After all, this is the vast playground in which you can practice your favorite activities, such as running and hiking.
And because it’s part of our core values, we have chosen to implement the Green Initiative, which aims to preserve resources.
As part of this effort, we developed the ECO Collection, carefully designed to minimize its ecological footprint.
100% recycled and recyclable cardboard
Since 2022, we have redesigned our ECO collection packaging to reflect our Green Initiative:
- The cartons in our ECO collection are made from 100% recycled and recyclable cardboard.
What is rPET polyester?
100% recycled polyester (rPET), certified by the Global Recycled Standard.
The acronym rPET stands for polyethylene terephthalate, a 100% recycled polyester made from recycled plastic bottles.
To obtain rPET polyester, empty bottles are collected, washed, sorted and crushed. They are then transformed into granules in a recycling process. These recycled granules are melted to create a fiber, which is then transformed into textiles.
No single-use plastic packaging for most shipments to our warehouse
- When shipping our products from the manufacturer to our warehouse, we have eliminated one-off plastic packaging inside the boxes for most items.
- And when plastic is absolutely necessary, we use biodegradable and compostable materials.
Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certification
All ECO collection products are Global Recycled Standard certified. The aim of GRS is to increase the use of recycled materials in products and to reduce or eliminate the damage caused by its production.
Process :
- Materials are checked to meet the ISO recycling standard.
- GRS sites must meet strict social and environmental standards. Chemicals that may cause potential damage cannot be used in GRS-certified products.
- Certification guarantees that the identity of the recycled material is maintained, from recycler to end product.
- A professional third party audits each stage of the production chain.
